Remuneration: Market Related dependent on skill set, knowledge, and experience
Purpose Of The Job:
Our client is looking for a Qualified Mercedes Benz Maintenance Technician or Higher Qualification, to perform high-quality maintenance, servicing, and minor repair work on Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles in accordance with OEM standards, ensuring optimal vehicle performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with manufacturer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on Mercedes-Benz vehicles
- Perform inspections, fault identification, and preventative maintenance
- Execute maintenance repairs according to Mercedes-Benz technical guidelines
- Accurately complete job cards, inspection reports, and service documentation
- Use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic systems and workshop tools correctly
- Ensure all work meets OEM quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
- Communicate technical findings clearly to the Foreman or Service Advisor
- Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and turnaround time standards
- Participate in ongoing Mercedes-Benz technical training and assessments
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Trade Test / Red Seal)
- Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Technician or Higer certification preferred
- 3+ years’ experience working on Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles
- Strong understanding of Mercedes-Benz servicing schedules and standards
- Experience using Mercedes-Benz diagnostic and workshop systems
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
- Excellent technical and mechanical aptitude
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Time management and ability to meet service deadlines
- Professional communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume workshop
- Commitment to continuous learning and brand excellence
