/
Refrigeration Assistant to support the HVAC/Refrigeration Technician in maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of refrigeration systems across its franchise network. This hands‑on support role is essential to maintaining energy efficiency, consistent temperature control, and smooth restaurant operations.

• Support senior technicians during the installation and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to technical specifications.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are available, clean, and in good working condition before and after each job.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the workshop and service vehicles.

• Monitor and manage basic inventory levels of frequently used parts and consumables.
• Report shortages and assist in restocking to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

• Participate in scheduled quarterly service routines across multiple sites.
• Assist with inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to maintain optimal system performance and compliance with maintenance standards.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a refrigeration or technical support role
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
• Relevant vocational training or willingness to pursue trade certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience with Taylor ice cream machines will be an advantage
