About the job Westmead - Diesel Mechanic
R 18,000. (South African Rand)
3 Month Contract to Possible Permanent PositionMUST HAVE OWN SET OF TOOLS
Responsibilities- Service, Repair and diagnostics of vehicles
- Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on vehicles
- Overall care and maintenance of company assets
- Pro‑active planning of repairs and services of vehicles
- Starting jobs and finishing jobs on Mechanic Desk
- Minimum of Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification
- Minimum five years general maintenance experience essential
- Service, Repair and diagnostics knowledge / experience for all vehicles and commercial vehicles (New and Old)
- Experience in Yellow Equipment
- Sound verbal, written and telephonic communication skills in English
- Energetic and flexible disposition
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to work irregular and extended hours
- Precise and accurate nature, as well as attention to detail
