3 Phase Electrician Join a leading name in the pome fruit industry based in Grabouw

The client is a key player in South Africa's fruit industry, headquartered in Grabouw. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the company s fruit packhouse operations. You will work with both automated and manual systems, ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting faults, and driving continuous improvement while adhering to safety standards.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the packhouse (sorting lines, conveyor systems, pumps, packing machinery).
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime using the Shopware asset management system.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (SANS 10142-1).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Collaborate with technical staff and production teams.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and energy efficiency.
• Potentially supervise junior electricians or apprentices.
• Be available for on-call duties or extended hours during peak season.

• Relevant Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal).
• Valid Wiremans License (Three Phase non-negotiable).
• Valid Drivers Licence (Code B/08).
• PLC experience (Delta, Schneider, Siemens, Allen-Bradley) highly advantageous.
• Experience with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and motor control.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with automated systems.
• First Aid and Safety training.
• Physically fit, able to work at heights, and willing to work overtime with standby responsibilities.
