Data Science Manager, IT Specialist
Executive Protection invites applications for the position of Site Security Manager. This role requires a disciplined, performance-driven professional to oversee daily security operations, manage personnel, and ensure full compliance with statutory, client, and company requirements. The successful candidate must demonstrate integrity, leadership, and innovation in maintaining safety and security at assigned sites.
1. Minimum Qualifications
PSIRA Registration: Grade A (mandatory)
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Security Management / Risk Management / Policing qualification (advantageous)
Firearm Competency for Handgun and Shotgun (mandatory for armed sites)
Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 8 / B)
First Aid Level 1 and Firefighting Training (advantageous)
SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) awareness and compliance knowledge
Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, and Email communication
2. Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in security management or a supervisory role, including guarding operations
Proven ability to manage large teams (guards, supervisors, control room personnel)
Experience in report writing, incident investigation, client liaison, and audit compliance
Familiarity with contractual compliance and SLA performance monitoring
Working knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and radio communication

Sound understanding of labour law and disciplinary procedures

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
4. Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations, deployment, and supervision of security personnel
Conduct site inspections, parades, and ensure compliance with post orders
Maintain incident, occurrence, and shift registers
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with PSIRA, OHS Act, Firearms Control Act, and company policies
Liaise with client representatives, SAPS, and relevant stakeholders
Investigate and report all incidents, losses, or security breaches
Maintain and audit equipment registers (radios, firearms, PPE, etc.)
Monitor timekeeping, attendance, and disciplinary matters
Compile weekly and monthly operational reports for management and clients
Ensure emergency preparedness and coordinate response procedures
5. Additional Requirements
Availability after hours for emergencies
Physically fit, presentable, and well-groomed
Ability to work under pressure and in high-risk environments
Knowledge of Sefeco or equivalent guard monitoring systems (preferred)
