Drill Rig Specialist IVP-MNG

Ivanplats is looking for a Drill Rig Specialist.

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

• Grade 12
• License to operate Drill Rig [282 and/or M2C]

• 3-5 years' relevant experience in operating a Drill Rill
• Ability to drill the face and support
• Experience in a massive mining environment highly advantageous

• Deliver Drill work according to Standard Operating Procedures for responsible shift.
• Build good working relationships.
• Manage self and show up as a good team player.
• Reduce costs and waste.
• Support the Transformation agenda.
• Follow the HSEQ plan for the Business area.
• Provide feedback to be used in reports.
