About

The Team

Workday is looking for Business Development Representatives to join our expanding DACH team in Dublin, Ireland. We are looking for driven individuals to proactively build relationships with prospects for Workday, working closely with our accounts executive team across EMEA to develop sales activity. This role gives you excellent exposure working with other departments within Workday such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and others as needed.

The Role

In this role, you will apply your consultative selling skills to initiate long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. Success relies on using effective selling strategies to optimally position Workday as a viable alternative to legacy solutions, while educating the market on our technology and applications. You will help generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting into enterprise companies.

About You
  • Advanced language skills in English and fluent German.
  • 1 year of experience in sales, sales development, recruitment, customer service, renewals, consulting, or internships.
Other Qualifications
  • Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
  • Credibility & value proposition: ability to articulate the value and potential of technology.
  • Candid communication & trust building: excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Business acumen: ability to absorb new concepts and showcase a passion for innovation to delight and inspire prospect customers.
  • Accountability: demonstrate a highly motivated, tenacious, and detail‑oriented approach to work.
