Why do we need you?
- Actively engaging and selling GIM solutions and new products to specialist distributors in order to deliver sales revenue and to ensure that GIM specifications vs order placements are met.
- Enhance product mix in order to show value add to the customer base and in alignment with company strategy.
- Developing customer specific growth plans inline with customers own growth objective (Training, open days, showrooms, demo units/displays, etc).
- Support with product performance issues in-line with Company guidelines.
- Attend Regional Project and Sales meetings giving timeous feedback as and when required.
- Responsible for training of customer base (with focus on specialist distributors) on existing products, new products and value add propositions (for example: Specsure, product handling and stock rotation).
- This role requires an individual with Matric and Degree, Diploma or relevant industry qualification in construction/building disciplines is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Valid Driver's licence.
- Min 3 years experience in a customer facing role essential.
- The ideal candidate must be willing to travel and pro-active in identifying business opportunities.
- Experience in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ideal candidate must have strong administrative skills (Excel skills), CRM Systems.
To deliver top line sales revenue and maximise commercial key accounts performance, in line with Company objectives and strategy. The job incumbent will be working as part of an integrated inland regional team to drive product proposition to sub-contractors and Specialist Distributors in order to develop customer satisfaction and to facilitate specification vs order closure.
