SENIOR MERCHANDISER (CLOTHING) – JHB

SALARY: R35 000 – R45 000

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Senior Merchandiser
• Excellent client liaison and communication
• Ability to build and keep business relationships at a high level
• Must have worked with Chain stores
• MUST know processes and procedures for the role of a Senior Merchandiser
• Developing, negotiating, and sourcing of new products within an eager team of merchandisers
• Order collection from Buyers
• Product development, and get approvals by the Buyers
• Be a great pricing negotiator
• Strong numeracy skills, decision making, commercial acumen and be able to work under pressure
• Liaise with managers regarding approvals
• Ensure all audits send out is in line with AQL
• Analysis of orders including monitoring of quality control specifications
• Supply chain responsibilities, including order tracking and admin
• Strict Adherence to sales and profitability KPI’s
• High level of attention to detail & urgency
• Ability to do seasonal range building
• Drive and maintain existing and new sales/business
• Assertive with strong administrative skills
