Location: Ballito
Salary: Negotiable DOE | Live-out
Contract: 3-month temporary contract
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled Temp Sous Chef to join a luxury boutique hotel in Ballito for a short-term, three-month contract. This role is ideal for a motivated culinary professional with experience in high-end hospitality.
Responsibilities- Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Prepare and present dishes to the hotel’s high-quality standards.
- Assist in supervising junior kitchen staff and maintaining smooth workflow.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Contribute to menu execution and daily kitchen organisation.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable to a temporary contract environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
