Level 1 Quality Controller; Qc

We are currently looking for a qualified Quality Controller to join our team in Mpumalanga, at our Middelburg workshop, on a full time basis. The job specs and requirements are as follows:

• Quality inspections
  :
  Inspect materials, in-process products, and finished products for quality
• Material Verification
  :
  Verify raw materials match orders and certifications
• Material Traceability
  :
  Maintain material traceability throughout production
• Welding Inspections
  :
  Oversee weld quality (ISO 3834) and support NDT
• Non-Conformance Management
  :
  Identify and document non-conforming products
• Defect Correction & Quality Improvement
  :
  Collaborate to resolve defects and drive improvements
• QC Procedures
  :
  Keep accurate inspection and test records
• Data Books
  :
  Prepare documentation for product release
• Equipment Maintenance
  :
  Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained
• Compliance
  :
  Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO 9001)

• National Diploma in Mechanical with 3 years’ experience in fabrication or Trade Test Plater shop/Boilermaker with 5 years’ experience in fabrication
• Quality Management Certificate
• Welding Inspector Level 1 or 2
• On-site erection and commission experience
