Control Room Operator

Job Description

A well established and brilliant Mining client of mine with gold operations based in the Mpumalanga Province, are looking to expand their team. They are looking to employ an experience and passionate Control Room Operator. The incumbent will be responsible to monitor and control the process flow through the SCADA system. They will also assess and report the efficiency deviations to Shift Foreman.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in gold production plant operations including CIL, Elution, Carbon Regeneration and Electrowinning,

• Knowledge of mineral processing technology, including the mechanical function of process equipment and the technical basis of mineral treatment processes,

• Control room operator experience

• Matric certificate or equivalency

• Qualification in Mineral Processing Technology advantageous
