Requirements- Trade qualification (Red Seal)
- At least 5 - 6 years’ experience as a Boilermaker.
- Experience in managing large projects and teams before in a fabrication environment.
- Experience in mining industry fabrication projects – advantageous
- Fabrication of jigs, cutting, shaping, welding and assembling steel to construct and repair metal products and structures.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and other technical drawings to understand specifications and identify the materials required.
- Welding:
Perform various welding techniques for assembling and repairing steel structures. - Inspecting:
Conduct regular inspections of steel structures for potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Compliance with Safety Standards:
Adhere to all workplace safety norms and regulations. - The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques with a strong background in welding applications in a manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
