Position: FMCG / Food Ind - Workshop Foreman Coordinator (Artisan),

FMCG / Food Industry - Workshop Foreman Coordinator (Artisan), Kempton Park, Rneg + benefits

We are seeking a Trade Tested Artisan (Fitter / Millwright) to oversee workshop operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the maintenance store and ordering parts
  • Utilizing SYSPRO ERP system for record keeping and purchasing
  • Ensuring equipment calibrations and legal inspections are up to date
  • Managing stock takes and liaising with QA to ensure food safety standards
  • Managing workshop team and scheduling jobs according to production needs
  • Minimizing waste and driving continuous improvement

    • Additional requirements:

    • Experience with equipment calibrations and legal inspections
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (advantage)
    • Experience with placing orders for engineering spares, stock, and equipment
    • Administer the purchasing process
