Production Supervisor - Ladysmith

Location: Ladysmith

Well known manufacturing company requires an experienced Production Supervisor for their plant in Ladysmith. Individuals who apply must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years production supervisory experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Coordination of production activities and resources so that planned products are produced to requirements, quality standards and within budget.
Ensure Occupational Health and Safety standards are maintained.
Manage and develop subordinates.
Coordinate production and maintenance activities ensuring planned maintenance and quality is achieved.
Production done within cost structures.

The candidate must have the following:

Grade 12 / Matric
Production Management qualification or similar
Minimum of 5 years production experience is required
Minimum of 2
-3 production supervisory experience is essential
A high level of numerical ability, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literacy
Must have the ability to manage staff and communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel
Co-ordinate all production activities
Industrial relations experience is essential

Experience with Occupational Health and Safety systems
ISO 9002 experience
