Roles and Responsibilities

Operations & Factory

Manage daily factory and processing operations.

Control production costs, yields, and losses.

Improve efficiency, throughput, and equipment uptime.

Monitor labour, utilities, and maintenance costs.

Food Safety & Quality

Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.

Manage audits and corrective actions.

Prevent contamination, recalls, and customer complaints.

People Management

Manage staffing, productivity, and discipline.

Control wages, overtime, and absenteeism.

Ensure staff training and development.

Stock & Inventory

Control raw material and finished goods stock.

Monitor aged, frozen, and slow-moving stock.

Conduct and reconcile stock takes.

Logistics & Supply Chain

Ensure on-time deliveries and order fulfilment.

Manage supplier quality and performance.

Reduce customer returns and refusals.

Retail Operations

Drive retail turnover and gross profit.

Manage store staff and stock levels.

Ensure product quality and minimal losses.

Oversee pricing, promotions, and cash controls.

Gross Profit and cost control.

Production yields and efficiency.

Food safety compliance.

Labour costs and turnover.

Stock accuracy and losses.

On-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

5+ years experience in meat processing or food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of food safety (HACCP).

Experience managing staff and production teams.

Good understanding of costing, yields, and stock control.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Good planning and organisational ability.

Attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure.
