• You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Revalidation plant, ensuring optimal production and reliability
• You will monitor plant performance metrics, productive output, inventory and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Managing production, supply and maintenance activities at the Revalidation Plant in accordance with company and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and other statutory requirements will be expected of you
• You will lead incident investigations, root case analyses and implement preventive measures
• You will act as the appointed Technical Manager for the Test Shop to ensure requirements are met as per South African National Standards (SANS) 17020, 1825, 10019
• Additionally, you will be developing and managing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, work orders and shutdown plans
• Lead and mentor plant operators, batch controllers, and support staff, conduct performance reviews and identify training needs will be expected of you

• You have achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years' experience in Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) or compressed gases cylinder filling and/or maintenance plant
• One year experience in a gas test station will be an advantage
• At least two (2) years' experience in a plant management or supervisory role is required
• Computer literacy, full Microsoft Office Suite, reporting writing is essential
