The ideal team player will be responsible to perform varied and complex tasks relating to the grain handling and storage function. The Junior Industrial Operator supports the safe and efficient handling, processing, and storage of grain. This entry-level position assists with operating grain handling equipment and maintaining quality, safety, and hygiene standards under the guidance of senior operators.

• Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• Certificate in Grain Grading and Grain Fumigation will serve as recommendation.
• Minimum 3‑Years experience in a similar role and environment is essential.

• Monitor flow of grain continuously.
• Continuous grain protection through fumigation as determined by supervisor.
• Monitor grain tube temperature and report deviation to superior.
• Measure grain tubes according to policy and safety regulations.
• Operate silo according to the VKB Group policy and regulations.
