Position: Miller – Food Manufacturing – R400K – R300K

Hire Resolve’s client in the Food Manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Miller to join their team in Mpumalanga.
Responsibilities:
Asset ManagementAchievement of overall production parameters Continuous availability of equipmenteduced down time due to equipment breakdownReduced milling and engineering costs Inventory ManagementFinished product model stock levels maintainedConsumable model stock levels maintained at agreed levelsVitamins and additives model stock levels maintainedManufacturing losses eliminated Financial ManagementContinuous Improvement.Zero write offs.Targeted production efficiencies achieved Corporate GovernanceAdherence to Company Policies and ProceduresAdds to the value of the company and is also beneficial to all stakeholders in the long term Health and Safety / RISK / EnvironmentalCompliance with Statutory and Company requirements at all timesAchieving targeted scores in all audits Quality AssuranceGood Manufacturing Practices in place and maintainedFood Safety adherenceCompliance to LegislationConsistent finished product scoresDecrease in Customer complaints Training, Staff Leadership and TeamworkImprovement in plant availability and production efficiency %Reduction in product deviationsMaintain High morale Operational Targeted manufacturing efficiencies are achieved within prescribed quality specificationsMills run at design capacityRequirements:
Core knowledge – Academic – Qualified Wheat or Maize miller (both preferred) – SAGMA/GMF Trade Tested, Knowledge of fumigation on grain insects and the management thereof
