Overview

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Shift Setter to join our team in Pinetown, KZN. The Shift Setter will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery and equipment to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, as well as strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

– Set up machinery and equipment for production runs according to work instructions and production schedules
– Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently
– Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production runs and make necessary adjustments
– Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
– Maintain accurate production records and reports
– Adhere to all safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– At least 2 years of experience as a Shift Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment
– Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good communication skills
– Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed
