A vacancy exists at Mpact Plastic Containers Castleview – in the Moulding plant located in Brits for which applications are invited from internal applicants who meet the following requirements:

• To be responsible for the provision of an effective and cost efficient maintenance/breakdown service to the plant including the provision of reliable plant/energy services, the successful undertaking of new installation/modification/project work, the effective sourcing and control of contractors, and the provision of a sound administration infrastructure. In addition to be responsible for the Toolroom and the effective and cost-efficient provision of moulds/tools to the plant, the stores plus the effective utilization and management of the Maintenance Department staff, while ensuring on-going adherence to the SHE standards laid down.
• General Maintenance
• Planned Maintenance
• Breakdown Maintenance
• New Installations/ Machine/Mould Modifications/ Projects
• Contractor Services
• Maintenance Administration/Stores/Tools and Equipment
• SHE [Safety, Health, Environment], Food Safety (if applicable), Admin, Liaison and Reporting
• Department/Staff Management

Must be a qualified Engineer. Additional management-related qualifications/courses will be an added advantage.
