Estate Manager

Location: Table View

My client in the Bloubergstrand area (Cape Town), is looking for an experienced Estate Manager in a hotel and residents owned apartment environment, to oversee the full spectrum of operational, maintenance, and facilities functions.

This hands-on management role requires a professional with strong technical, financial, and interpersonal abilities who can balance the expectations of multiple stakeholders while maintaining excellence in all aspects of estate operations.
Minimum Requirements

• Must have a full knowledge of Sectional Title laws / Homeowners Association & Property laws
• Matric / Grade 12
• National Diploma in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Management / Business Administration
• 8+ yrs estate management experience in hotel & resident owned apartments:
  • Maintenance, security, cleaning, landscaping & estate upkeep
• 8+ yrs proven maintenance experience - identify, assess & diagnose and action both structural and building services–related (h-vac, electrical, plumbing and more).
• Full knowledge of Sectional Title laws (homeowners vs board), Homeowners Association & Property laws.
• Experience dealing with Shareholders/Trustees/Residents
• Experience drawing up & managing budgets, financial controls, & operational systems effectively.
• Matric & Diploma (Facilities, Property, Building, Engineering).
• Valid driver’s licence & own reliable transport.
• Must already live within 30 mins from Bloubergstrand, Cape Town
• Computer literate.
• Be in good health / physically fit.
