We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager:

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the de‑fleet operations of our fleet department, including managing the drivers, coordinating with Europcar, Regional and Branch Managers and dealers, and coordinating vehicle movements to and from Recon Centres and car carriers.

• 3‑5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which at least 2‑3 years managerial experience

• Grade 12

• Code 8 driver’s license
• MS Office with intermediate level Excel skills as minimum
• Advantageous:
  Knowledge of OHS, risk assessment and hazard identification.

• Ensure de‑fleets are done timeously
• Manage and mentor stockyard staff and drivers
• Build and maintain relationships with de‑fleet service providers
• Collaborate with Recon Managers to ensure seamless coordination of vehicles to and from Recon Centres
• Ensure daily maintenance, inspections and analysis on all vehicles, trucks, and yard
• Daily monitoring of drivers for all trips between stockyard and Recon Centres

• Communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities
• Must be able to handle pressure and exhibit good time management skills, demonstrating a sense of urgency and commitment.
• Highly disciplined; driven to strictly adhere to all policies and procedures.
