Requirements- An LLB. For serving prosecutors seeking promotion any appropriate legal qualification.
- At least ten (10) years’ post qualification experience in civil and/or criminal litigation.
- Demonstrable competency in acting Independently, Professionally, Accountable and with Credibility. Admitted Attorney and/or Advocate. Right of appearance as contemplated in section 25(2) of the NPA Act, 32 of 1998. Demonstrate experience in managing motion proceedings.
- Good advocacy and legal drafting skills. Good knowledge of civil and/or criminal procedure. Knowledge of Asset Forfeiture law will be added advantage.
- Ability to act independently. Good interpersonal, analytical, presentation and communication skills. Strong computer skills. Willing to travel and able to work extended hours.
- Valid driver’s licence.
