Commercial Underwriter

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Matric (Grade 12), FETC NQF 4, and a Higher Certificate in a relevant field
• Regulatory Exam: RE 5 certification required
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite new and existing commercial insurance policies
• Evaluate risks and determine appropriate terms and premiums
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation as needed
