Senior Data Analyst

Location: Dundee

An established, fastâpaced organisation is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support its sales, marketing, and leadership teams through highâquality data extraction, dashboard development, performance analysis, and automated reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Extract, clean, validate, and integrate daily data from multiple sources into internal systems.
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards with daily sales and performance metrics.
- Produce daily, weekly, and quarterly reports, including automated data workflows.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Create compelling data visualisations using Power BI and Excel for crossâfunctional stakeholders.
- Support sales, marketing, business managers, and executives with customised insights and dashboards.
- Provide training and onboarding support to new users on reporting tools and systems.
- Work on adâhoc projects, including customer trackers, promotional performance reviews, and category analysis.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

- Relevant National Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

- 24 years experience in a data analyst or reporting role.
- Demonstrated experience with dashboard creation, data cleaning, and automated reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.

Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualisation.

- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and daily operational reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate insights to both technical and nonâtechnical teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work to daily and weekly deadlines.
