Location: Boksburg

GHM is recruiting an IT Support, to provide first-line technical support to internal staff and/or clients by resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring minimal downtime and high levels of user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Support
  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, printers, email, and network issues.
  • Respond to emails, and telephone queries.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Escalate complex issues to second-line or external service providers where necessary.
2. System & Equipment Maintenance
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Set up new user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
  • Perform routine system updates and software installations.
  • Maintain asset register of IT equipment.
3. User Support & Training
  • Assist users with system navigation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Provide guidance on IT policies and security best practices.
  • Conduct basic training for staff on new systems or updates.
4. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions.
  • Prepare basic IT support reports when required.
5. IT Compliance & Security
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies.
  • Support data backup processes.
  • Assist in maintaining cybersecurity standards and antivirus systems.
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in an IT support/helpdesk role.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and troubleshooting techniques.
