Junior Desktop Support

Quantum Insights is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Desktop Support professional to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network related issues

- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals

- Assist with the setup and maintenance of company servers and network infrastructure

- Monitor and manage system backups and updates

- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements

- Maintain accurate records of all support activities and resolutions

- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees on company technology systems

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system improvements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote support tools

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
