Location: Somerset West

Hire Resolve's client, a leader in niche automotive diagnostic and accessory products, is seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist who is a tech‑savvy problem‑solver with a passion for motorcycles and a knack for providing exceptional support to join their team in Somerset West.

Responsibilities
  • Providing outstanding technical product support to our diverse customer base.
  • Identifying and reporting on customer support trends to drive product enhancements.
  • Contributing to the improvement of our support delivery services and exploring new methodologies.
  • Assisting with fleet maintenance (motorcycles).
  • Managing and maintaining office technical infrastructure.
  • Testing software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Managing the company's online presence and contributions on technical forums.
Minimum Requirements
  • Customer Support: 3-4 years
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL): 3-4 years
  • Technical Hardware: 3-4 years
  • Diagnostic Analysis of Software/Hardware Failures: 3-4 years
  • Tertiary qualification in a technical field.
  • Motorcycle driver's license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical customer support experience.
  • Proven experience with software testing.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of relevant technical product knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of various desktop and mobile operating systems.
  • Exceptional knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and related IT systems and devices.
  • Good understanding of software and its interfaces with IT systems and other software.
  • Some firmware knowledge would be a significant advantage.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAGE.
  • Strong planning & organizing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A clear aptitude for and understanding of vehicle-related diagnostic and other technical hardware and software.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technical information
    .
