SysOps Engineer

We are looking for a proactive Sys Ops Engineer to manage and optimize our hybrid and cloud-based Microsoft infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging traditional system administration with modern cloud operations, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and highly available. You will be responsible for the health, security, and scalability of our systems, bridging the gap between traditional system administration and modern cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Azure Cloud Operations:
  Provision and monitor Azure resources including Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers, and Storage Accounts.
• Active Directory Management:
  Administer Azure AD and on-premises Active Directory, focusing on RBAC, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP configurations.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Automate resource deployment using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform to ensure consistency across environments.
• Automation & Scripting:
  Develop Power Shell scripts to automate routine operational tasks, reducing manual errors and increasing efficiency.
• CI/CD Support:
  Assist in managing Azure Dev Ops pipelines and automating software release cycles.
• Monitoring & Security:
  Utilize Azure Monitor and Microsoft Sentinel to track system health, performance, and security threats.
• Disaster Recovery:
  Maintain Azure Backup and Veeam Site Recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Office 365 Administration and Configuration.

Specialist Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a logical, structured approach.
• High standards of quality, reliability, and professionalism.
• Networking Fundamentals:
  Strong understanding of network concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.), and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
• Proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022), Microsoft 365, and Hyper-V.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Understanding of network security best practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on Windows Server and Azure.
• Languages:
  
  Strong Power Shell scripting skills required; C# or SQL is advantageous.
• Excellent Communication Skills both verbally and written.
• Clear Criminal record.
