Our client, based in Fisantekraal, is looking for a highly organised professional to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function while supporting bookkeeping activities.

Requirements:
- Matric, Qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources with exposure to payroll and basic accounting
- Proven experience in a full-function HR role
- Experience with Iscasoft is advantageous; training will be provided if there is no prior experience
- Working knowledge of Pastel
- Strong understanding of UIF, Compensation Fund, and South African labor legislation
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic working knowledge of Google tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skill
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full HR function, including onboarding, employee administration, and compliance
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee files
- Ensure compliance with South African labor legislation and internal policies
- Process weekly and monthly payroll using Iscasoft
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and statutory contributions
- Resolve payroll-related queries and maintain payroll records
- Manage all UIF matters including registrations, UI19 submissions, and employee claims
- Administer all IOD and Compensation Commissioner matters including registrations, claims, and follow-ups
- Prepare and capture the monthly salary journal on Pastel
- Perform monthly interest calculations on staff loans
- Capture loan interest and related journals on Pastel
- Assist with general bookkeeping tasks once payroll processing is complete
- Provide support to the financial accountants with payroll-related and administrative financial information
- Assist employees on site with inventory-related matters
- Support sourcing of items and services
- Administer staff loans and related documentation
- Issue and track PPE
