Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for a luxury lodge in the Sabi Sands that is seeking an experienced Head Sommelier to lead its wine and beverage offering. This role is suited to a senior wine professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of fine dining and luxury lodge service.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing and developing the lodge's wine programme and beverage strategy
- Managing wine procurement stock control and cellar organisation
- Leading training and mentoring the sommelier and F&B service team
- Advising guests on premium wine selections and food pairings
- Maintaining exceptional service standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations
- Proven experience as a Head Sommelier or Senior Sommelier within a luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge with a strong focus on wine
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
