We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee the full operation of a luxury lodge environment. The successful candidate will be a strong all-rounder with a passion for guest experience, proven leadership ability, and solid business and administrative skills.
This role requires a hands-on professional who thrives in a people-focused environment while maintaining excellent operational control and financial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction at all times
- Maintain high standards of service delivery and presentation
- Engage personally with guests to create memorable experiences
- Oversee daily lodge operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage and guiding teams
- Ensure all departments function efficiently and in alignment with company standards
- Implement and monitor operational procedures and service standards
- Lead, motivate and manage lodge staff
- Conduct staff training, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Foster a positive and professional working environment
- Handle all lodge administration and reporting
- Manage budgets, stock control, procurement and cost management
- Oversee payroll inputs, rosters and staff records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Support senior management in business planning and development
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost efficiency
- Ensure sustainability of business operations
Minimum Requirements
- Previous senior management experience in a lodge or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities
- Solid financial understanding, budgeting and reporting experience
- Hands-on operational experience across multiple lodge departments
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Professional, presentable and guest-focused
- Proactive, self-motivated and reliable
- Strong work ethic with a positive leadership style
- Passionate about hospitality and service excellence
