Location: Somerset West

Distinguished Estate, Hotel & Spa based close to Somerset West is seeking a capable and service-driven Reservations Agent to join their Reservations team, based at the hotel and supporting two private villa rentals within the collection.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the guest journey ensuring a seamless experience from managing enquiries, converting bookings and ensuring each reservation is handled with care, accuracy and professionalism.

This role supports occupancy, conversion and guest experience from first contact through to confirmed booking. You will work closely with Revenue, Front Office, Sales and Operations to ensure bookings are seamless, well-communicated and aligned with the standards of the collection.

Duties:

Handle all reservation enquiries and bookings via phone, email, and online platforms
Manage bookings for Estate Hotel & Spa and two private villa rentals
Process individual, group and conference reservations accurately
Capture guest details, preferences, special requests and booking notes with care
Coordinate booking information with Front Office, Rooms, Sales and Operations
Maintain accurate records within reservation systems
Communicate promotions, packages and relevant offers to guests
Support a smooth guest experience through clear and timely communication

Requirements:

Grade 12
Formal hospitality qualification
Previous experience in a hotel reservations or hospitality role is required

Experience with Protel (Property Management System) is advantageous
Experience using Nights bridge or similar systems for villa or rental properties is advantageous
Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Contribute meaningfully to guest experience and occupancy performance
Grow within a business that values care, consistency, and accountability

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Every second Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
Able to work flexible hours due to operational needs.
