Management Couple

We are seeking a management couple to oversee this intimate five-bedroom lodge which offers a blend of luxury and wilderness immersion. Designed for families or groups, the lodge combines modern self-catering convenience with the tranquility of a riverside sanctuary, making it a place where the rhythm of the bush and the comfort of home meet seamlessly.

Core Criteria:

• Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent
• FGASA Level 1 (NQF
  2) guiding qualification.
• DEAT registration.
• Valid PDP
• Valid First Aid certification
• Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
• Solid knowledge of lodge management, guest services, HR, administration, guiding, maintenance, and gardens
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with guests, staff, and stakeholders
• Technical proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Independent, flexible, and able to work extended or irregular hours.

• Coordinating guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently.
• Creating a welcoming environment and addressing guest concerns.
• Maintaining high standards across lodge operations.
• Managing housekeeping staff and arranging relief when needed.
• Preparing and submitting month‑end reports.
• Managing payroll submissions.
• Ordering and controlling stock, consumables, and lodge assets.
• Overseeing HR, administration, and front‑of‑house functions.

• Conduct daily game drives
• Hosting guests and sharing knowledge of the reserve and wildlife.
• Managing gardens, lodge upkeep, and general maintenance.
• Supervising staff across maintenance and grounds.
