Job Advert Summary
Purpose of the position:
Maintain cleanliness of laboratory and provide basic support function
Conduct housekeeping of laboratory
- Clean laboratory and equipment
- Ensure application of 5S (Sort, set in order or Simplify, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Perform sampling and basic testing
- Sample and test products
- Perform routine chemical/microbiological procedures
- Record test results
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
- 3 – 5 yrs experience in a food manufacturing environment applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
- Business English:
Fluent - Computer literacy (Basic)
- Work shifts/weekends/public holidays
