Senior Financial Analyst

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Management Accounting or related fields (NQF
  8) - an Honours Degree is advantageous
• CIMA registration is preferable
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Management Accounting, of which 3-5 years should be at the management level
• Computer literacy (MS Office suite, SAP, ERP Systems, and job-specific software systems)
• Advanced skills in financial modelling and modelling tools
• Excellent MS Excel competency
• In-depth knowledge of relevant financial processes and procedures
• Effective problem-solver, able to manage change and can also come up with new ideas and solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support financial planning, performance tracking, cost control, and profitability analysis for both manufacturing operations and sales and distribution activities
• Ensure decision-makers across production, logistics, and sales are equipped with timely and accurate financial insights to drive efficiency and growth
• Undertake financial feasibility analysis, evaluations or business projects and advise on the optimisation of resources and profitability of the project
• Conduct special studies to analyse financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action
• Budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and providing insights that support strategic planning and performance management
• Daily accounting, expense control and business partnering
