Financial Manager | Wildlife Estate | Hoedspruit
Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 DOE
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Manager for a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit. This role will oversee all financial operations of the estate, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, while supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Accounting- Manage all customer and supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payments
- Process payments and requisitions as approved
- Perform reconciliations and maintain the asset register
- Prepare monthly VAT
201 submissions - Draft the annual budget with input from the Financial Director and Estate Manager
- Monitor Capex and operational budgets, updating budget-to-actual spreadsheets
- Provide monthly financial reporting and feedback in accordance with Board requirements
- Issue clearance figures and certificates
- Manage monthly electricity invoicing and meter readings
- Maintain building deposit spreadsheets
- Incorporate rule and MOI changes into the estate’s governance documents and register updates post-AGM/SGM
- Assist the Estate Manager with AGM documentation and other administrative arrangements
- Standby every third weekend to respond to queries, delegating tasks and ensuring timely follow-up
- Diploma or degree in Financial Management or minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of Pastel General Accounting preferred
- Knowledge of HOA management beneficial
- Human relations and communication skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
