Financial Manager

Location: Boksburg

Financial Manager – Jet Park, Johannesburg A growing wholesale industrial supply company is seeking a hands-on, proactive and disciplined Financial Manager to take full responsibility for the financial function across the group.
This role suits a mature, grounded professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys being operationally involved in the detail — not just reviewing from a distance.

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Degree (essential)
• 5+ years’ Financial Management experience in a similar-sized business
• Strong stock and inventory knowledge (non-negotiable)
• Experience in wholesale / import / industrial or similar sectors advantageous
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
• Fluent in Afrikaans, highly advantageous

Systems Exposure Required:
Xero, Simple Pay, Syft, CIN7 Netstock, Geo Rep (or similar systems experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Full financial management of the group (operating company, holding company & affiliates)
• Accurate and timeous month-end reporting (incl. reporting packs)
• Intercompany account management
• Payroll oversight (30 staff) including commissions & expense claims
• VAT, reconciliations and statutory compliance
• Cashbook management and cashflow forecasting
• Accounts receivable and payable management
• Inventory management including cycle counts
• Fixed asset register management
• Budgeting and reforecasting
• Import finance and shipping management
• Internal controls design and implementation
• Preparation for independent review

You will be supported by a CFO and two direct reports.
