Somerset West, South Africa | Posted on 26/02/2026 An NPO focused on the development of children is seeking an experienced Financial Data Administrator with a passion for making a difference to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position and is office-based.

The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely capturing of financial transactions in Microsoft Business Central (BC), including credit card expenses, petty cash, supplier invoices, payments, and daily receipts. The role supports the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with reconciliations and ad‑hoc administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
Invoice and Expense Capturing
  • Capture credit card invoices in Microsoft Business Central (BC).
  • Capture petty cash invoices and supporting documentation in BC.
  • Ensure all invoices are correctly coded to the appropriate GL accounts and cost centers.
  • Verify supporting documentation before processing.
Payment Allocation
  • Capture and allocate payments against supplier invoices in BC.
  • Ensure correct matching of payments to open invoices.
  • Assist in clearing aged creditor balances.
Daily Receipts Processing
  • Capture daily receipts in BC accurately and timeously.
  • Reconcile receipts to supporting documentation and bank deposits where applicable.
Reconciliations
  • Assist with the reconciliation of credit card statements.
  • Reconcile petty cash accounts.
  • Assist with supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Identify and report discrepancies to the Financial Manager.
Administrative & Ad-hoc Duties
  • Assist with filing and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist with ad hoc finance and administrative requests as required.
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Certificate or diploma in Bookkeeping / Accounting preferable
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar finance or data-capturing role.
  • Experience working on Microsoft Business Central (BC)
