We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the Group’s financial processes and works closely with internal business operations and external vendors to ensure an efficient, accurate, and compliant accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process, validate, and raise supplier invoices in line with company policies
• Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy
• Match invoices to purchase orders using Yooz and Pastel
• Prepare payments, electronic transfers, and check runs
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and accounting records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare aged creditors reports
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain vendor onboarding documentation and relationships
• Assist with month-end close processes and audits
• Support Finance and Accounting Managers during BEE and annual financial audits

Requirements

• Matric
• Financial tertiary qualification an advantage
• Minimum of 2
  -3 years experience in an accounts payable role
• Strong academic results
• Sage Pastel & Evolution experience preferred
• Clear ITC and Criminal record
