Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Production Graduate is to coordinate and supervise all activities of the department required to meet shift targets.
The main missions of the role are:
Assisting with Production PlanningCo-coordinating activities of the department including shiftsOrdering and ensuring raw materials conform to process requirementsEnsure machines are utilized efficiently to meet set targetsCheck quality and record and report deviations (ISO TS )Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintainedPlan machine maintenance downtime in consultation with MaintenanceConduct training and appraising of employeesEnsure all departmental budgets are metControl material utilization and minimize wasteProvide good customer service and communicationPromote good employee relationsComplete daily reports accurately and on timeDealing with daily industrial relation problemsEnsure all manufacturing systems are maintainedCarry out monthly stock takesApply & enforce FES principlesYour profile and competencies to succeed
Qualification/s
The minimum qualification/s required for this position is/are:
Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Operations Management/Engineering related field.Knowledge & Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing environment would be advantageousSkills & Competencies
