Mechanical Engineer

Minimum requirements:

• BTech or MEng in Mechanical Engineering

• Junior-level candidate (0–3 years’ experience)

• Agricultural background or experience within the agricultural industry

• Experience working with CAD design programs (ADVANTAGEOUS)

• Strong technical and problem-solving ability

• Willing to work the same standard working hours as the company

• Must be willing to work on a rotation basis as per company needs

• Valid driver’s license

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with mechanical design and development using CAD programs

• Support engineering projects within the agricultural environment

• Assist with equipment improvements and modifications

• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues

• Collaborate with production and operations teams

• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards

• Assist with technical documentation and reporting

• Support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives

Remuneration:

• R25 000 – R40 000 per month (depending on experience)
