Job Overview:
Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Engineering Manager Underground – Mining to oversee all engineering activities related to our underground mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and providing strategic direction to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our mining sites.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee all engineering activities related to underground mining operations
– Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize production and minimize operational costs
– Lead a team of engineers and provide guidance and support
– Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the mine
– Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
– Conduct regular site visits to assess engineering needs and address any issues
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and contractors

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
– GCC Mines and Works
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in underground mining operations
– Proven track record of leadership and project management skills
– Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
– Familiarity with mining software and technology is a plus
