Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a skilled Draughtsman to join our team and assist in the creation of technical drawings and plans. The Draughtsman will work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to translate their design ideas into detailed and accurate drawings. The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating both 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and ensuring that all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to create technical drawings and plans
– Use CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings
– Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with industry standards and project specifications
– Make revisions to drawings as needed based on feedback from team members
– Assist in the preparation of material takeoffs and cost estimates
– Maintain organized project files and documentation
– Stay current on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology

Requirements:

Minimum of N4 Mechanical Engineering with Draughting as a major

Minimum of 3 years in Engineering Drawing, and multi-disciplinary drawing office practice

Technical understanding of production sub-processes

Possessing practical skills to operate a basic plant

Interpersonal skill /managing self

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Computer literacy (MS Projects, MS Office Competence, Auto cad and Inventor Competence)
