Industrial Engineer

Location: Springbok

We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering data-driven process optimisation and systems design solutions. The role is based in Springbok (Northern Cape).

The role involves analysis, modelling, site work, and project execution across diverse industrial environments. Ideal for a self-driven professional passionate about efficiency, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• B.Eng. /
  
  B.Tech.
  
  - Industrial Engineering
• Minimum five years relevant & verifiable, career & practical experience.
• Experience and/or knowledge of Agri-processing would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, verbally and in writing, in English and Afrikaans, as well as solid leadership experience and skills.
• The candidate must exhibit a passionate approach to challenges, have a goal orientated task delivery methodology, commit to conclude what was started, must be self-driven coupled with taking initiative organically, seek to continually grow, take responsibility, ownership & accountability for work & tasks, and form part of a team that undertakes unknown opportunities.
• Software skills in Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD would be an advantage.
• To be based or willing to relocate to Springbok.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing and able to travel for work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Form part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Modelling of industrial engineered work in Revit/Plant3D/other software.
• Industrial engineering analysis i.e., ergonomics, process flows & optimisation, logistical & system design, efficiency improvements, data analysis & quantitative assessments, etcetera.
• Solving complex client problem statements through the application of critical thinking.
• Project management, administration, and project systems development & integration.
• Site visits and inspections - Conduct site meetings, inspections, and investigations.
