Mechanical Engineer

Please note this position is based in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia. All relocation Costs will be covered.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems for large-scale construction projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of mechanical equipment and systems throughout all project phases.

• Design, review, and approve mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including piping, pumps, compressors, HVAC, and rotating/static equipment.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimations, and technical evaluations of mechanical systems.
• Monitor project execution, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to quality assurance and control procedures.
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical engineering issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure smooth project integration.
• Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation for stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering registration/certification (preferred).
• 7+ years of proven work experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in construction projects.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, rotating and static equipment.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Caesar II, ANSYS, etc.).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
