The role will be responsible for the effective management and control of the survey department through the ability to lead and develop human resources in the department. The incumbent is expected to ensure the well-being of employees through the promotion and implementation of Mine Safety Programs.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• BSc/BTech in Mine Survey/ Mineral Resource Management

• Mine Survey Certificate of competence

• 5 – 10 years’ experience in an underground an underground environment within the survey

• 2 - 5 years must be practical post qualification experience
