Filling a temporary position for Mechanical Technology – (Automotive) lecturer.
Key Responsibilities- Lecturer
- Teaching-learning of Mechanical Technology modules and all related organisational and management tasks, which include related practical work.
- A
B.Ed. Honours degree or Hons degree (NQF level
8) with a focus on Mechanical Technology or related field. - Any relevant education qualification.
- A
B.Ed. Honours degree or Hons degree (NQF level
8) with a focus on Mechanical Technology or related field.
- A master’s degree (NQF level
9) in Mechanical Technology or related field. - Accreditations with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
- A minimum of 2 years’ teaching-learning experience in a tertiary institution in Mechanical Technology Education or related field.
- Capable to provide students with knowledge and practical skills regarding all elements related to Mechanical Technology education in the South African context, with the primary focus on FET phase Mechanical Technology specific Automotive.
- Experience and use of the FET Phase CAPS Mechanical Technology – Automotive.
- Experience with regards to the use and maintenance of machinery in the Mechanical Technology field specific for Automotive.
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
