EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
PERMANENT APPOINTMENT
Purpose of the Position: To fill a vacancy in the School of Professional Studies in Education.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules.
- Teaching and supervision:
Postgraduate. - Research publications.
- Community service.
- Study guide and material development.
- Support of research entity.
- Initiating and planning of strategic research initiatives
- A PhD (NQF 10) in Education Management & Leadership.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in higher education.
- Author/co-author of at least 2-5 research articles in accredited journals since 2020.
- Proven teaching experience in research methodology.
- Completed supervision of one (1) master’s student for senior lecturer.
- Completed supervision of three (3) master’s and one (1) doctoral students for associate professor.
- Involvement in NRF – funded research projects.
- Must have a proven publication record.
- Must have a proven record of presenting/attending relevant national and international conferences.
- Demonstrate experience of working in a higher education context.
- Research skills, interpersonal skills/communication and computer literacy.
- Team worker.
- Good interpersonal relations.
